John Planell, CFP®

John has over thirty four years of experience as a financial advisor. He is a multi-decade CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. John graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Masters in Science in Mechanical Engineering. He attended the University of New Hampshire where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is also an alum of Fordham Prep. He started his professional career in financial planning with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in 1987. John has distinguished himself as a true master of the craft in financial planning!

John grew up in the Yonkers, NY and lives in Pound Ridge, NY. John’s enjoys spending time with his family and being on the water in his sail boat.
