Michael W. Gnadinger, CFA

Mike has over twenty years of experience in the investment industry with most of that time spent in public equity analysis and portfolio management. He joined Round Rock Advisors in 2025 after serving as senior portfolio manager at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He has been a CFA charter holder since 2006 and holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Delaware.

He began his career at US Trust Co in corporate compliance before moving to private client wealth management to pursue his interests in equity research, stock selection, asset allocation and portfolio management. In 2005, after working with individual high net-worth clients, he moved to the Growth Equity Group as an equity research analyst focused on the Information Technology, Media and Telecom sectors for the Excelsior Large Cap Growth fund (renamed the Columbia Select Large Cap Growth Fund). Additionally, he was the lead analyst and portfolio manager covering the Information Technology and Communications Services sectors on the Columbia Select Global Growth Fund from 2015-2020. Mike lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife and son and enjoys an active lifestyle including tennis, weight training, hiking, biking, swimming, playing basketball with his son and reading.
